How auctions work
TPCT Auction is a platform specializing in premium collectible auctions: TCG cards (Pokémon, Magic, One Piece…), limited-edition or certified-graded comics and manga. We connect collectors and buyers in real-time bidding with complete transparency.
Every auction runs for a set duration (usually 24 h, 3 days or 7 days). During that period, any registered and verified user can place bids. The bidder with the highest offer when the timer ends is the winner.
Register and verify your account
Registration is completely free. You only need a valid email address and a password to create your account. You can do so from the Sign up button in the header or from any auction page.
To place bids you need to verify your email address. You'll receive a confirmation link in your inbox (check your spam folder too). Once verified, you can take part in auctions straight away.
For purchases above certain thresholds, or for sellers who wish to list items, we may ask you for additional identity verification (KYC). This process is quick, secure and complies with European fraud-prevention regulations.
Explore and follow auctions
Browse the auction catalog using filters by category (TCG cards, comics, manga), grading status, minimum price or time remaining. Each auction card shows the current bid, the number of bidders and a live countdown.
Add items to your watchlist with the heart icon so you never lose sight of the auctions that interest you most. You'll receive notifications when someone outbids you or when an item is about to close.
Bid in real time
TPCT Auction offers two bidding modes to suit your style:
Manual bidding
You enter the amount you want to bid yourself. It must be higher than the current bid plus the minimum increment set by the seller. The bid is registered instantly and every participant sees it in real time. It's your responsibility to keep an eye on the auction's close.
Automatic bidding (proxy bidding)
You set your maximum amount and the system bids for you automatically, raising your offer only as much as needed to keep you in the lead — up to your limit. If another bidder beats your maximum, you'll get a notification so you can decide whether to raise your offer. Your maximum amount always stays confidential.
Automatic anti-sniping extension
If someone places a bid in the final 3 minutes before the close, the timer automatically extends by another 3 minutes. This ensures every bidder has the chance to respond to a last-second bid, removing the unfair advantage of sniping.
Win and pay
If you're the highest bidder when the timer expires, you'll receive a win-confirmation email with a summary of the item you won and the total amount (hammer price + applicable shipping costs).
You have 48 hours to complete payment. If that deadline passes without payment, the purchase may be declared void and restrictions may be applied to your account in line with our terms of use.

Once payment is confirmed, the seller prepares the shipment. Every item is sent with specialist collectible packaging and a tracking number. Usual delivery times are 2–5 business days within Spain and 5–15 business days for international shipments. See our shipping policy for more details.

Quick answers
Is registration free?
Yes. Registering and taking part in auctions as a buyer are completely free. You only pay if you win an auction.
Can I withdraw a bid once it's placed?
For the integrity of the system, bids are binding and cannot be withdrawn except in justified exceptional cases (item misdescribed, demonstrable technical error). See our terms for more detail.
What happens if I can't pay after winning?
If you don't complete payment within 48 hours, the auction may be declared void. Repeated payment failures can result in restrictions or account suspension (strike system).
How do I know the item is authentic?
Every item goes through an editorial review before being listed. Graded items include a reference to their PSA, CGC or BGS certificate. For ungraded items, the seller must evidence the provenance.
Can I sell on TPCT Auction?
Yes. Verified sellers can list items after completing the KYC process. Get in touch via the contact page for more information about fees and the onboarding process.
What is proxy bidding and how does it differ from bidding manually?
With proxy bidding you set your maximum and the system bids automatically for you, raising only as much as needed to keep you first up to your limit. With manual bidding you actively decide each offer yourself.
